Kirsten has a passion to help people discover new goals and achieve dreams not felt possible. Originally from Canada, she completed her Masters degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland and is qualified as a Physiotherapist in both Australia and Canada. While doing her Masters degree Kirsten fell in love with Brisbane and its proximity to the beach, camping and rock-climbing sites. When she’s not working you may find her down at kangaroo point climbing, running along the Brisbane river or at beach, dissuading her kids from eating sand.
Although less common in Brisbane, Kirsten figure skated for almost 20 years and enjoys all snow sports from skating and snowboarding to cross country skiing. She has used this passion and her knowledge to make ski-ready programs for athletes before their big trips to the snow.
Kirsten works with all athletes and has a special interest in women’s health and the pregnant population. She has done additional training in this area in both Canada and Australia and has presented at the Toronto Baby Show. Having twin boys in 2019 has given her some first-hand experience with all the joys and challenges that come with pregnancy and post-partum physically and mentally which has complemented her clinical practice.
