Matthew Ross

Coach, Chiropractor

Matt is a Coach and Chiropractor at PEAK. Originally from country Western Australian, he moved interstate to Victoria as a child, where he completed his education, receiving his double bachelor degree (BHealth.SC/BApp.Sc – Chiro) after graduating from RMIT in Melbourne.

Matt has always had a passion for health and the human body. Growing up, he participated in various team sports and other physical activities. Sadly sport and injuries can often come hand-in-hand and at 19 years old, Matt experienced a serious football injury requiring ankle surgery. It was a challenging 3 year rehabilitation journey that finally saw him return to running and eventually his beloved AFL. Matt’s own experiences have fuelled his drive to assist Athlete’s with their own recovery journeys. He is passionate about empowering people to take charge of their health, working with the PEAK team to not only return to doing what they love pain-free but to also guide them in excelling and reaching their greatest potential and goals.

Matt is looking forward to making the most of what the Sunshine State offers, aiming to continue running and playing AFL as well as learning to surf (hopefully easier without the freezing Victoria waters). Matt is a passionate Freo supporter in the AFL but thinks he’ll be wearing a lot more maroon than purple soon!
