Georgia Richards

Georgia is a born and bred Brisbane girl who graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelors in Exercise Physiology and a Masters in Physiotherapy studies in 2011. After a few years in Brisbane she decided to start ticking her travel list and took off to South America which then ended up with her moving to Scotland and working in Edinburgh for four years. Missing the sun and family, she has now returned to join the tribe at PEAK.

Georgia’s interest in helping people achieve experiences not thought possible was kick started during her days as a gymnast after a few trips to the Physio herself. She learnt how important and rewarding it is to help people through difficult times and to reach their goals, when her mum underwent a double hip replacement to then successfully summiting Mt Kilimanjaro only a few years later.

Georgia believes we should try to do activities that cause our bodies to move in ways we don’t in our day to day lives and that setting up a habit to move / exercise is important for us as a whole. She also believes that her job as a Physio “is to make herself redundant” by teaching and educating her athletes to help understand and manage their own bodies.
