Turning Setbacks Into Momentum

She didn’t have it easy at first. Her first nationals in 2021 didn’t go as planned, but instead of giving up, she used it as fuel. With determination, smart training, and a solid mindset, she kept improving. Her personal best of 1.84 m even came while rehabbing a knee injury!

Zoe’s hard work has taken her from winning state championships to competing internationally. She was selected by Olympic champ Mutaz Barshim for the “What Gravity Challenge,” and she’s already represented Australia at the Pacific Mini Games, taking home gold.

And now the biggest news: Zoe has earned a full scholarship to LSU! She will sadly be leaving the PEAK TEAM but heading to the US to take her high-jump skills to the next level while studying, surrounded by top coaching and support.

Curious how she went from picking up a sport in high school to standing on international runways?

Check out our first blog on Zoe’s journey to high jumping to see all the ups, downs, and leaps that got her here and now able to achieve an experience not felt possible.

From small-town beginnings to international tracks, Zoe’s story shows that hard work, focus, and believing in yourself, training hard and overcoming challenges can take you anywhere!
