At PEAK, we see every client as an athlete in their own right, whether they’re returning from injury, building strength, or striving for peak performance. To reflect that philosophy, our treatment rooms are named after individuals who embody perseverance, commitment, and the PEAK values. These athletes act as what we call “vision custodians”. Their stories remind us why we do what we do and inspire both our team and our athletes.
Each year, our PEAK tribe comes together during our annual retreat to hold the room nomination process. This is a chance for coaches and all stars to nominate athletes who embody what it means to be a PEAK vision custodian.
These nominations are more than a recognition of physical achievement—they’re an homage to athletes who have embraced our core values:
Where you make the decision to take action in the absence of pain, and set yourself up for success by acting preventatively in order to stop your pain from recurring.
It is spending a disproportionate amount of time, resources, and energy in order to achieve your goal or experience not felt possible.
When a name is chosen for a treatment room, their stories are able to be shared across the clinic with our coaches and their athletes.

For example, Jenny Thomas showed extraordinary dedication in balancing family, work, and her personal health goals. Another, Kai Taylor, displayed remarkable grit during a lengthy rehabilitation journey, turning challenges into opportunities for growth. More recently, Krystle Theodosis and Joseph Cook were honoured together as PEAK’s first joint room nomination. Between marathon running, Ironman training, and supporting each other through demanding schedules, they embody resilience, consistency, and the pursuit of an experience not felt possible.
These names are visible daily to staff and clients, acting as subtle but powerful reminders of the strength and potential within all of us.
Stepping into a room named after a real athlete can be motivating and a great discussion point. For our team, it reinforces our culture of celebrating the efforts that have led to their outcome of achieving something never felt possible.
As our coaches, who these people are, and what they have done!
