Read moreHer journey hasn’t been without hurdles. Aysha has faced a few injuries along her journey including a lis-franc midfoot sprain, concerns with her quadriceps muscle and her ankle stability, all of which have set an ongoing obstacle in preparation for her first half-marathon. However, with determination and the support of our physiotherapists and podiatrists, she overcame it, showcasing her unwavering commitment to both recovery and her running goals.
Beyond her athletic pursuits, Aysha plays an indispensable role within our clinic. As one of our dedicated All-stars, she ensures the seamless operation of our facility and provides unwavering support to all who cross her path. Despite the demands of her High-Performance sport degree and clinic responsibilities, Aysha juggles them with grace and remains a beacon of positivity.
Despite all the challenges she has overcome, her performance at the Brisbane Marathon half-marathon is a testament to her dedication, smashing her goal time with a jaw-dropping time of 1:37:42! Outstanding efforts for her first ever half-marathon.
Aysha’s journey serves as a reminder that success is not solely defined by accomplishments but by the resilience displayed in the face of adversity.
