Overview

What are Podiatrist Home Visits?

Home visit Podiatrist appointments involve one of PEAK’s experienced Podiatrists visiting your home to provide Podiatry treatment. We will help provide solutions to your pain, and develop our treatment plan based on your expectations and the goals you want to achieve. Your Podiatrists will bring all of the equipment that is required for the appointment.

How Do Podiatry Home Visits Work?

At the initial appointment your Podiatrist will complete a thorough assessment of your condition and determine what goals you have for the session. Depending on your presenting complaint, treatment at home can include general nail care, soft tissue release, dry needling, foot and ankle strengthening exercises and footwear advice. We are able to book your appointments in advance so you always know when your next appointment is coming up.

What Conditions Can Be Treated Via Podiatrist Home Visits?

Mobile Podiatry services are a convenient treatment option for a range of conditions. A home visit Podiatry appointment can include general foot care such as nail cutting, removal of corns or hard dead skin. We can also provide assessment on diagnosing foot pain or prescribing custom foot orthotics. Mobile Podiatry appointments are also a convenient option if you are recovering from a surgery and need to begin rehab at home as soon as possible.

General Nail Care

This includes treatment for general nail care, fungals nails, warts, corns, thickened skin and cracked heels. We are also able to conduct neurological and vascular assessments.

Foot Pain

Home visits for foot pain will include a biomechanical and gait assessment. The way your feet and legs are moving may play a contributing role to your pain, and without this being checked, we may be missing the underlying cause of your problem. Treatment may include soft tissue release, dry needling, custom foot orthotics and or exercises.

Custom Foot Orthotics

We are able to bring portable 3D scanning devices to your home to then be able to develop custom foot orthotics for you.
