Blane is a passionate physiotherapist who graduated from The University of Queensland in 2012 with honours. Blane’s honours paper examined taping techniques for computer users and was published in 2013, he also presented on this topic at the APA conference in Melbourne. Having gained exposure to overuse injuries working as an occupational injury consultant, Blane has developed a special interest in overuse injuries caused by industrial stresses and exercise.

Blane also plays in the Queensland AFL League for the Morningside Panthers, so has an extensive knowledge of sports related injuries and how to manage these to get you back competing or into regular exercise again. Blane adopts a multi-modal hands-on approach to treatment and combines this with rehabilitative exercises to improve pain and allow patients to reach their goals.

Outside of Peak, if he isn’t having a coffee, you’ll find Blane walking his border collie around the streets of Hawthorne!
