Brittney Trueman

Brittney has lived and grown up in Brisbane her whole life. She has always been interested in learning more about how the body works and initially started a nutrition degree after finishing school, however found this was not for her and made the leap over to physiotherapy. She graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of Queensland and completed research in the area of chronic ankle instability.

She has since enjoyed the variety of working in a private practice setting in the areas of musculoskeletal and sports. Over this time she has expanded her knowledge and skills by completing courses in clinical pilates, dry needling, the shoulder and lower back. In 2018, she got the exciting opportunity to volunteer as a physiotherapist at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

Brittney is motivated by getting people back to the activities they love doing as fast as possible and giving them the tools to prevent re-injury. She finds it a thoroughly rewarding feeling to witness these changes in a person and get people further educated about their body.

In her spare time, she enjoys running around the netball court, cooking and supporting her AFL team, the Brisbane Lions of a weekend.
