Jasmine Kirk
Senior Coach, Physiotherapist
Jasmine’s interest in physiotherapy was sparked by her love of sport, fascination with the science behind movement, and desire to care for others. Having grown up in Far North QLD, she has a strong appreciation for an active lifestyle and believes exercise should be enjoyable, purposeful and sustainable. Jasmine brings a warm and empathetic approach to her consults, with a focus on first helping her athletes out of pain with hands-on treatment techniques such as dry needling and soft tissue release techniques. She then shifts focus to supporting them to implement sustainable lifestyle habits with regards to exercise and assisting with accountability to see long-term change.
Her clinical interests include sport related injuries from weekend warriors to competitive athletes, tendon and running-related conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, management of pain associated with hypermobility and healthy aging. Jasmine played a range of sports growing up, but has been heavily involved in recreational and competitive netball since she was young. She has been an accredited gymnastics coach for over 10 years, and enjoys rehabilitating gymnastics, acrobatic and dance related injuries. She has extensive experience coaching young children, providing engaging interventions for kids looking to work on strength, proprioception and balance, including those who are neurodivergent.
Alongside her musculoskeletal practice, Jasmine has recently undertaken further professional development in Women’s Health and is able to provide support with education and exercise within the scope of menstrual health, pregnancy and menopause. She has a particular interest in osteoporosis and bone health, and is passionate about shifting the focus towards building and maintaining strong bones throughout life, rather than only addressing bone health once it has declined. She is driven towards helping women and girls through different stages of life to repair their relationship with exercise, feel confident moving their bodies and manage their health autonomously.
Jasmine works collaboratively with her athletes to empower them through education, exercise and collaborative goal-setting, helping them build confidence in their bodies and return to the activities that matter most to them. She committed to ongoing professional development with intentions to study her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2027.
Outside of PEAK, Jasmine enjoys exploring new places locally and internationally, spending time with friends and family, playing netball and coaching gymnastics.
