Physiotherapy: Getting the most out of life.

PEAK Sports and Spine Centre has a team of Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Podiatrists and Massage Therapists who utilise Telehealth consultations to eliminate or reduce pain, speed up recovery and improve your performance at work or for sport.

What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is an online healthcare service aimed to help those who are unable to have direct face-to-face contact with their healthcare practitioner. It is an online consultation for us to communicate with you and assess, understand, diagnose and create a plan to alleviate your pain. The benefits of it’s online capabilities allow all of this to be done within the comfort of your own home!

How can we help you?

Whilst not being able to provide any manual therapy treatment, Telehealth is still a great platform for:

  • Comprehensive assessment and diagnosis
  • Pain relief through therapeutic exercise
  • Prevention from pain returning
  • Biomechanical assessments
  • Retraining
  • Postural, gait, balance and coordination retraining
  • Improvement of function
  • Home Exercise Programs – both for pain, prevention and performance

Who can benefit?

Whether your goal is to get out of pain, get back into sport, or compete at an elite level, our team of Coaches can help you online! For those who are unable to access direct face-to-face healthcare services, Telehealth can prove as an effective alternative for an individualised online assessment and tailored treatment plan that can help to identify areas of weakness or dysfunction. Once these areas have been identified we can work with you to determine which treatment would best suit you and your personal goals.

How can I get started?

Our Telehealth service is provided to our athletes all via means of technology. Here is the easiest way to get started:

  • Get in with us via phone or email, or simply book online
  • One of our All-Stars will then email you through our New Athlete intake forms which will provide your Coach with your details and relevant medical history. This allows us to be as prepared as possible for your initial online consultation
  • The day before, your Coach will get in contact with you to discuss further details and ensure you are well prepared and set up for the online consultation. They will discuss what means of communication will work best for you (phone, laptop/computer, tablet) and where best to be set up in your home
